Food storage and organization tip

If you’ve done any kind of food storage or organization, you probably already know the value of a good labeling system. My dad’s method was “magic marker” on masking tape. Masking tape wasn’t such a good idea for the long-term as the adhesive tended to dry up and turn to dust. He later graduated to a typewriter and mailing labels.

Labels are the key.

Today, quality labels and labelers are relatively inexpensive and can not only help you remember what something is, but by labeling shelves you can remember where something goes.
